„Green Skills in Action“
№ 2025-1-BG01-KA122-ADU-000337426
The project translates European practices into concrete learning solutions for adults and vulnerable groups. The focus is on sustainable development, applicable green skills and better access to training with practical value.
Activities
The team implements international mobilities that combine specialized training in Poland and observation of work in a real environment in Sweden. This explored working models in waste management, sustainable tourism, environmental education and social entrepreneurship.
In parallel, good European practices were analysed and adapted to the Bulgarian context. On this basis, new training modules and materials with a practical focus were developed.
Specialized trainings on „Recycling and Waste Management“ and „Green Practices in Tourism“ were also held, focusing on real-life case studies, applicable skills and modern digital approaches.
Results
Within the framework of the project, 2 international mobilities have been implemented, through which 8 experts acquired new knowledge and skills for the implementation of sustainable practices in adult education.
4 new training modules have been created: two on waste management and circular economy, and two on sustainable tourism and digital tools in environmental education. Visual resources, infographics and training materials have also been developed for direct use in the trainings.
Over 125 trainees are undergoing tailored programmes aimed at enhancing skills and employability in sectors related to sustainable development.
Impact
The project is changing the way adult learning is planned and delivered by linking European experience with local needs. The result is a more practical, up-to-date and accessible model of training.
The experience gained creates a sustainable basis for future initiatives in green skills development, support for vulnerable groups and employment promotion. Established partnerships with organisations from Poland „EU Mobility Sp. z o.o.“ and Sweden „EUROMOBILITY AB“ further expand opportunities for long-term cooperation and exchange.
